Maintaining a healthy weight has been an important issue in the last years, and there were a lot of debates around this subjects. Some people prefer to eat as much as they like and whatever they like and then keep a diet for one or two weeks, that will get them to a normal weight in a short time. Others prefer to eat regularly and rationally, and not starve for a couple of weeks just to get into last summer’s bathing suit.

Maintaining a healthy life , just like maintaining a healthy weight should not be a very hard job if you eat healthy and exercise regularly. Acting like this will lower your chances of getting ill and represents the path to the figure that you have always wished for.

Low fat food and low calorie food include a lot of fruits and vegetables. By eating lots of fruits and vegetables instead of  fatty snacks and sweets will help you maintain easy a healthy weight. This has to be paired with a lot of physical exercise, which should be a part of your daily schedule. A lot of people go for a walk, jog in the park or exercise one hour daily at the gym. Each of us is different, that is why we should choose the thing that makes us feel more comfortable.

Here are some health tips for you:

-         keep a diary. Try to write down everything you do and eat every day. This will give you the chance to analyze you daily food habits and will help you realize if there is a problem or not. Try to be honest, you are the only one that reads that diary anyway. You should try and do this for a whole week.

-         Choose a goal that you want to achieve. For example, this week you wand to get rid of the mayonnaise and ketchup you use to eat every day at breakfast together with your salami sandwich. Try to cut them out for good, because they are not healthy and they fatten a lot due to their high salt content.

-         Make sure you get used to making healthy food choices. This should be a routine by now. Try and cook at home your own meals, eat as little as possible in fast foods and restaurants, and if you have to eat out choose low calorie menus, like salads, soups and boiled meat with a vegetable side dish.

-         Be proud of what you have achieved by now. At first it will be very hard for you, especially if you used to be a burger fan, but you will soon get used to your new life style.

-         Make a compromise now if you want to have a long healthy life. Don’t consider it a sacrifice because you will profit from it later.

Maintain A Healthy Weight

Maintaining a healthy weight has been an important issue over the past years because the quality of the food we eat has lowered. We started eating mainly processed food because it is cheaper to buy and easier to cook. All you have to do is throw it into the oven and in a few minutes it is done. If you would have tried to cook it yourself it world have been maybe hours of your time: you have to go to the market, buy the ingredients and then come home and cook them. And it would have been definitely more expensive, maybe not that tasteful, but surely more healthy.

Being overweight has two big disadvantages: you look bad and you feel bad.

The excessive fat tissue in your body stresses the other organs and, your heart and liver will be the first affected. If you have twice the weight you had a few years ago your heart will have to work twice as much as it did then, so the risk of you having a heart attack is not just an absurd speculation.

And we all know that one of our biggest concerns is looking good, and how can you look good having twenty kilos above your ideal weight? There is a way to calculate your ideal weight by using a math formula : body mass index. Body mass index depends on the weight, calculated in kilograms and height, calculated in meters (BMI=weight/height²) and divides people in for categories: underweight, normal weight, overweight and obese.

Unfortunately maintaining a healthy weight has become pretty difficult also because our daily schedule has become very crowded. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but more than half of us skip it because they have no time. If you skip lunch too because you have a very busy day at work and you would rather finish half an hour early than go and have something to eat with your colleagues, that leaves you with dinner, the only meal of the day. So imagine how stressful is that for your body: first you starve it all day long and then stuff it in the evening, when your stomach should rest just as you do. By the way, this may lead to sleep disorders, too.

So how can we maintain a healthy weight? I think the key to your success is healthy food and exercise. You should try and eat as many natural products as possible even if they are more expensive, try and have at least twice a day fresh fruits and vegetables, mix them in salads or eat them as a side dish. Exercise as much as possible: go to the gym a few times a week or jog in the park.

Following this steps you will most certainly manage to heave beautiful healthy fingernails. It is recommended a daily diet composed of 50% fruit and raw vegetables to supplement the necessary of vitamins, minerals and enzymes. Also try not to avoid broccoli or onions. There should also be included foods rich in biotin such as soy, cereals, yeast. Vitally important is also consuming water and other liquids. Another reliable friend for your nails is carrot juice rich in calcium and phosphorus. The rules above are generally valid for maintaining the health of the whole body.

The most effective and the safest way to have healthy nails is to offer them daily the hydration they need. A cream for your hands and nails will very easily help you fulfill this goal. First of all, the biggest mistake that you could do is cutting you cuticles! They are a natural barrier to bacteria and the wisest way would be to leave them where they are. Sure, that does not mean you letting them grow continuously.

Just retouch them regularly, like once a week. How will you do this? Simple: with a special cream that softens cuticles, making them so much easier to remove, and then use a small wooden stick. You have soft and brittle nails? You can improve that with a fortifying nail polish. Another thing you should know about maintaining your fingernails healthy is how to remove nail polish.

The most effective in dissolving the nail polish is acetone. But it excessively dries your cuticles. Therefore, companies making cosmetics launched solvents without acetone, but when using them it may take longer to remove nail polish. A benefit of using this type of solvent is the fact that it isn’t in any way aggressive with your fingernails or cuticles. Although you probably do not pay that much attention to the health of your nails keep in mind that they actually reflect the healthy condition of the entire body. Just try including them when you’re planning on improving your health.
