After making a mistake one has to apologize and take responsibility for their action. Trying to fix problems that intervene is a maturity proof. In order to establish peace, one has to forgive himself. Forgiving is an easy thing to say but it is difficult to do. Forgiving needs time. The one that got hurt needs to believe that the other person regrets this.
Many times, forgiving it is an aspect of respect for ourselves. We do not deserve to live in continuous tension and we were not created to punish others around us for their mistakes. It is more peaceful to forgive. People have to apologize and to forgive before their relationships tear apart. People have a tendency of seeing the good aspects in themselves and the bad aspects in others. Knowing this aspect one can change their perspective in relation to the idea of judging others.
In life, many things happen and one cannot prevent or control everything. Thus, one can try to learn from personal mistakes. It is ideal to learn from other mistakes. However many of us do not learn, not even from our personal mistakes. It is said that bad things continue to happen to us until we learn the lessons that we have to learn. It is not a matter of luck, it is just a matter of dealing with life.
The truth is that life is harsh many times but the power and the human character is not seen or proven in happy moments but in difficult times. Determination, strength and ambition to maintain our mental and physical health are key elements fora successful life. These keys also insure a longer life and enough energy to learn and experience the important things.

Mistakes would not be made, at least, not so many, if people tried harder to do the right thing. Because people do not do the right thing many problems appear. Of course, people are not robots (and even robots have errors), so people make mistakes. Here it is not about crucial aspects. The kind of mistakes one is ashamed with and feels sorry for changes everything in his/her life. Relationships change, self-esteem changes and many other aspects: financial, economic aspects and others.
To avoid depression and to stop blaming himself one should try more. Invest time in observing your priorities, your goals. Of course one wants to be both mental and physical healthy and avoid bad habits in order to achieve new, positive habits. Establishing broader goals is very important. In the beginning one has to establish short term goals and then long term goals: 5 year goals, 10 and twenty, even thirty year goals. This offers an interesting perspective upon life and helps people focus more... At this scale one observes that life is actually short and only important aspects should be taken into consideration.

Health is a fragile, delicate aspect of one's life and once the physical health is shrinking, mental health is not far from this either. It is important to remain highly motivated. Stress management becomes more and more important. Stress it is also a positive aspect which makes people seem more dynamic, younger and attractive. Stress, in its manner helps people stay in shape. Not caring for our bodies or for our children as well as about teaching them discipline is a big mistake.
