Healthy Appetizers

We have a tradition, some kind of custom I might say, that whenever you go visiting or at holidays they serve you with appetizers and then after a while they bring out the real meal. Appetizers consist of cold plates filled with : cheese, mozzarella, bacon, salami, sausages cut small and fried, mushrooms, all kinds of vegetables such as tomatoes, cucumbers cut in special forms for effect, different creams made of fish eggs , caviar, marinade fish or smoked fish etc.
There are many things you can put as appetizers , and it also depends on tastes. My favorite appetizer plate has to contain , cheese, mozzarella, bacon and salami, maybe some cucumbers and some tomatoes etc. Appetizers are just for snack, to open your appetite because after this it comes the main course in form of steak with garnish. Also, appetizers can contain a salad , oriental salad with small pieces of chicken.

Healthy Appetizers should contain vitamins and should be cooked without any oil. Many women prefer to stay away from too greasy things, but at an occasion they can eat , sausages or other sauces very greasy. Appetizers stay on the table for a longer period than a normal course. If you eat some appetizers and the main course you pretty much can call it a night with eating. Appetizers are great at parties. Only appetizers instead of the entire menu, is a way to feed people something and still not overdue with too much food.

For example vegetable appetizers on toast with red sauce and a little bit butter are very popular. Some also choose to combine garlic with toast and a little butter, served just like this. The taste is amazing, if you are fan of garlic on bread. It's best to not serve appetizers that leave a very smelly taste behind, because you are at a party so, it's not indicated to eat something that will make people talk with their head turned in the other way.In the end, healthy appetizers are the best way to get away with just a few things on the table. It's traditional to serve your guests with something, and what better way than prepare something light and easy .
