We all already know the fact that breakfast is considered the most important meal of the day. The truth is, though, most times we prefer to use the allocated time for breakfast in front of the mirror or drinking a coffee and getting dressed. You must know that skipping breakfast, although it may seem like a good idea at the time, since you do not want to be late for work, in the long run it has serious consequences on your health and your overall performances. For instance, you’re work performances will most definitely not rise up to your expectations or everybody else’s expectations due to the fact that you will feel tired, you will not be able to concentrate properly and obviously you will feel somehow hungry. A muffin or a doughnut can’t be considered a proper breakfast. Below I will give you a few suggestions so that you can understand the implications of skipping breakfast and a few reasons you should keep in mind so that tomorrow morning you’ll feel motivated to eat a healthy breakfast.

First of all, you should remember every morning, especially if you are a girl or a woman with weight losing plans, the fact that breakfast is an essential factor in losing weight. You must realize that breakfast is very important for your silhouette. A bowl with low fat milk and cereals will help you consume less fat or high in calories foods. It is worth mentioning that cereals are not rich in calories, but will still make you feel less hungry for a long period of time. Cereals are known to provide you numerous vitamins and minerals that your body requires and they will give you the energy you need to make it through the day.

A breakfast that contains cereals, fruit and dairy will most definitely maintain your health condition and you will be significantly less exposed to disease like gastritis, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases and many others. In addition they will also provide you the required amount of fibers. Also there are many studies that made a direct connection between intellectual performances and a healthy breakfast. As I was saying, a proper breakfast will give you energy and it will make you feel better overall, it will improve your mood and so you will be able to face the daily problems and requirements both at work and at home.

Besides the cereals, dairy and fruits, a glass of natural fruit juice or a cup of tea in the morning are also highly recommended so that you can assimilate better the vitamins and minerals contained in your breakfast aliments. You can also try eating one or two slices of bread with butter and honey and also try with that drinking a glass of low fat or free fat yogurt. Another great idea can be drinking low fat milk and eating one egg every morning.

Any of the previous breakfast ideas can also include fruits or milk and cheese in different amounts, but still remember moderation is the secret for a healthy lifestyle. Although you can choose from many options, there are still a few things that you should constantly avoid when deciding what to eat or drink in the morning. Under no circumstances, is it recommended for you to drink coffee, alcohol or smoke cigarettes. There are many serious consequences for this like many diseases and also you will most probably feel tired later that day. Also try avoiding sweets at breakfast.
