Everyone likes candy. From small kids to grownups to old people, everyone eats sweets. Why? Because they taste good. a good nice, juicy brownie, ice cream, cheese cakes, cakes, strawberry tarts, chocolates, candies etc are all desserts we like to take at any moment in the day. Women are known to be crazy after chocolate. Men are not sweets maniacs,. They eat but with a limit and from time to time. A woman eats candy every day, and a lot of candies when she is upset. Candies are very rich in calories but they also give you energy. Too much sweets can lead to teeth problems, or diabities. Candy should be only as a dessert and not as a first meal. Children are nuts about sweets, but if their parents know how to raise them, they will not have any problems. you cannot refuse your child his chocolate after dinner, but you can put a limit on how much he eats.

We need that amount of sugar every day, to give us energy and will to finish our work. Haven't you ever felt like you needed to eat something sweet? Well, when this moment comes it's best to take a bite from a  chocolate bar, and not eat the hole bar.  Here are some Healthy Desserts that can replace perfectly any sugar rush we might have. For example instead of eating a chocolate, we could prepare ourselves a fruit tart. Some sweets or cookies are not that sweet and can make as great desserts. For example you could try a blueberry soup. Here are the ingredients you need : fresh or frozen blueberries , 2 cups water 1 whole cinnamon stick 2 tablespoons honey , 1 tablespoon chopped fresh ginger, 2 tablespoons cornstarch 1/3 cup low-fat milk 1 cup , 4 teaspoons reduced-fat sour cream. This dessert is good for keeping your healthy weight, it's  low on  calories, low carb, low sat fat, low cholesterol, low sodium, heart healthy, and most importantly diabetes appropriate.

Another Healthy Dessert can be a fruit salad , or a minty fruit salad, depending on tastes. For example you could mix together berries and lemon  with some mint leaves, and leave them in the fridge. After a few hours it will make a sweet syrup. This dessert is good for kids and not only. When you crave for something sweet, you should either eat a fruit or a fruit yogurt. Also, for a more light dessert you could try ice cream, or a few squares of home cooked cookies.

Brownies and cookies with a lot of chocolate, pancakes , are  very tasteful, but they are very fattening.  What you could try is eat peanut butter or jam. For example when I crave for something sweet , some biscuits with jam are perfect to take my mind of of chocolate or snikers bar. There are plenty Healthy Desserts , but we just have the ambition and the strength to resist temptation. In the end, eating dessert is not a felony , but eating too much dessert, is!
