Lack of energy, tiredness, running late with a project for work or school, studying at night or just wanting to stay up longer and go to a party, are just few of the reasons why people drink energy drinks. We are influenced by all the commercial and all the publicity these energy drinks have. Before actually give in to temptation and drink something just because the commercial says it's good and it can make you real energetic in any situation, doesn't mean that it's actually true. Energy drinks include many brands and types of ingredients.

The most common ones are : Pimp Juice, Full Throttle, Rock Star, Monster Energy, Rage, Cocaine, Red Bull etc. The most popular and known across the globe is Red Bull whose fame has made the owners of red bull very rich people. Everyone drinks red bull from time to time, either in clubs combined with alcohol , or simple when going on a long trip or when wanting to stay up and energetic for a longer period. Energy drinks are also athletes favorite drinks. Many people who start going to the gym and work out drink energy drinks just because they know these drinks give you energy. Well, here are some facts about energy drinks you might want to consider: experts say that even if you might need a boost of energy, taking this from energy drinks might not be the right thing to do.

Energy drinks contain caffeine and sugar , but also, taurine, ginseng, vitamins and green tea. The caffeine included is at a high level and the sugar will not do you any good. Also taurine mix gives you a faster heart rate , just as the caffeine. Combining this with alcohol it's not healthy for your heart. Some people feel the effect of this drink other don't but the idea is that energy drinks are quite unhealthy and they don't make their effect as they say they do. Energy drinks have as a target teenagers. The commercials show real man, looking very good, athletes who drink these energizers. They show a macho lifestyle which every boy whats to get and so, drinking these sodas is a way to be more close to that goal, when the truth is it's just a drink that contains a few ingredients .

Healthy Energy Drinks are not the ones found in the supermarkets. If you need a boost doctors suggest a healthy diet, exercising, being always active and most importantly a good night sleep. A coffee drink made with soy milk can be a better choice than any energy drink. We know much more about caffeine than about these energy drinks that have a number of names of substances we have never heard about. Fruit juices are also a choice, water, low fat milk are also good energizer drinks.

Eating healthy gives you the energy you need. Fruits and vegetables , cereals are few of the many nutritious and nourishing foods that give you energy. Eating at a few hours distance can also make you very energetic. Always eat little and do not overcharge yourself with too many sweets. In the end you don't need energy drinks to be energetic, you just need other options.
