Bee honey helps a lot in treating gastritis, anemia and wounds and it is one of the most recommended natural products. The outstanding healing qualities of bee honey are well known. But as a matter of fact, only few of us know exactly what type of diseases can be treated with bee honey. Because of its antiseptic and calming effects, bee honey and bee products had been used by folk medicine for thousands of years, with spectacular results. Here are some diseases that can be treated with bee honey:

Treatment for wounds

Applying bee honey directly on the wound has potent antimicrobial and calming effects, removing secretions and impurities. If the wound doesn’t heal, a mixture of honey and fish oil (in equal parts) is to be prepaired. Apply directly on the wound, cover with sterile dressing and after 3-4 hours, rinse it off with chamomile tea. This ointment restores the elasticity of the muscle fibers, stimulates growth of young tissue and helps regeneration of it.

Treatment for skin burns and boils

Mix three parts of bee honey with one part wheat flour. Apply the resulting mixture on the skin burn (or boil) and cover it with a sterile dressing. Change the dressing after ten hours and clean the skin burn (or boil) with chamomile tea and plantain (infusion of 2+2 tablespoons of plants per liter of water).

Treatment for Anemia

As it has a celullar structure that is very close to the structure of blood plasma, bee honey can replace the missing mineral and trace elements in human blood, with strong effects on hemoglobin. To treat anemia, it is recommended to use dark bee honey. In combination with pollen and nettle tincture, dark bee honey can give spectacular results in treating anemia. Therefore, it is recommended to use the following mixture for 21 days : two tablespoons of dark bee honey combined with a teaspoon of pollen and 20 drops nettle tincture (available in any Plafar store). This mixture will be divided in two parts : one part will be taken in the morning, around 10 a.m., while the other part will be taken in the afternoon, around 5 p.m. For children under the age of 10, half of the recommended amount will be taken in the morning.

Gastritis

For gastritis and stomach hyperacidity, it is recommmended to use acacia honey diluted with warm water and taken 90-120 minutes before meals. It reduces stomach acidity and it quickly absorbed, canceling „burns” (one teaspoon in 100 ml of warm water). Mountain honey will be diluted in cold water (one tablespoon per 100 ml water) and it will be taken 90-120 minutes before meals. The temperature of the water used for diluting bee honey is very important.

Two tablespoons of underboiled acacia honey will be mixed with 200 ml of milk and it will taken before night sleep, around 10 or 11 p.m.. In order to treat ulcers efficiently, it is also very important to stick to the rules of appropriate diets.
