When we want something sweet to eat , a good healthy solution represents the healthy oatmeal cookie recipe . It is extremely healthy because it contains a great amount of whole grains and fiber .

There are different types of oatmeal cookies but one of the most beloved recipe by all the family and especially by kids is oatmeal chocolate chips cookies . For this recipe , you need the following ingredients : 2 cups rolled oats , ½ whole-wheat pastry flour , ½ cup all – purpose flour , 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon , ½ teaspoon baking soda , little salt , ½ cup tahini , 4 spoons cold unsalted butter , 2/3 cup granulated sugar , 2/3 cup packed light brown sugar , 1 egg , 1 large egg white , 1 spoon vanilla extract , 1 cup semisweet or bittersweet chocolate chips , ½ chopped walnuts . The first step is to preheat the oven and line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper . In a bowl , mix the oats , whole – wheat flour , all – purpose flour , cinnamon , baking soda and salt . Meanwhile beat the tahini and butter in another bowl with a mixer till it is formed a paste . Then add granulated sugar , brown sugar and continue to beat until all the ingredients are well mixer . Beat in the egg , after the white egg and continue with the butter which has been left . Take care to space the flattened ball 5 cm apart . You have to bake the cookies until they become golden brown ; the baking time is about 16 minutes . After you may cool the pans for a couple of minutes , then you can transfer the cookies in a wire rack to cool completely . Per cookie , the energy content is about 100 calories and only 5 grams fat .
