What It Means To Be Socially Healthy

Health is a very important issue. People don't pay too much attention to their health, unless they get sick or don't feel so well. Visits to doctors are more rare and so, people need to understand that if they protect themselves in time, they won't have any problems. it's best to prevent than to cure. Health is on more levels than just physic health. Being mentally healthy is also important. Mentally healthy means being pleased with yourself, not having issues . Problems are common and we all have problems , but it's the way we handle them that matters.

Social health is another thing. Being socially healthy means having a social life, having friends, a family and a good relationship with work colleagues. Many people wonder What It Means to be Socially Healthy. Well, there are some that are more shy and there are other very outgoing. Social health means being able to communicate and interact in any situation and with anyone. People that have low self esteem, are not socially healthy because they prefer to stay in the shadow than being around people.

We often see , even in school, children that are popular and some more introverted. A person with an introverted character is a person that will have many things to lose in life. Nowadays, in order to manage in life and succeed you have to be very outgoing and open minded. Social health depends much on ho you are raised. Going to events, go out with friends, party and do normal things people do, means you are socially healthy. People that are more of loners , that don't have friends and prefer to stay on their own., are some unresolved issues.

Also social health means having a love relationship. Many don't know how to act around persons of opposite sex and from this reason they remain alone. Solitude is very difficult and it creates many incertitudes , fears and dark thoughts. We all have something we don't like about ourselves but this is not something that stops us from making friends or relationships. Having a family, a normal life, means that you are able to communicate and connect with others and this is what social health means. Social health relates also on mental health and physic health.

As a conclusion, many people don't know that social health is as important as any other health issue. We live in a world where social life matters very much. Nowadays, in order to make something with your life you have to stay around people, to know how to talk and how to act at special gatherings. Work environment and the way you behave at work is much part of your social health. In order to have a normal life, you have to be able to have a conversation and to get along with everyone.
