We  like eating steaks , grilled meat, with fries as a garnish. This is the main favorite meal of teenagers and kinds. When you are young what you eat matters less, but on the long run, eating too much meat can cause heart problems. Each type of meat has it's own benefits and disadvantages. The most common meat is chicken, eaten daily and used in excess. The only thing that is bad at chicken meat is the skin, containing too much cholesterol. Red meat on the other hand is more problematic. There are many debates in what regards red meat. Some say red meat is good others totally deny this. Cancer causing and brain damaging or a very rich in vitamins source we cannot say no to?

The only static question is " why is Meat Healthy?" . well, here are some facts that will enlighten you about meat. There are many studies made on the idea of eating meat. A study even suggests that a more higher intake of meat is likely to increase a woman's chances to have breast cancer. Facts like this one, are plenty so, even if they are true or not, we should pay more attention to what we eat and in what quantities. The truth about red meat, is that it depends on the meat. The three red meats we all know and consume are : pork, lamb and beef. Pork is known to be the leanest, lamb is the most fattening one, and beef is the most nutritious one.

Red meat is known to contain a lot of zinc. This is one of it's advantages. Many teenagers nowadays have a zinc deficiency , and is quite important because zinc keeps the skin healthy and strengthens the immune system. Consuming red meat during the winter can also help you avoid the awful colds and other specific infections. There are plenty other products containing zinc, but even so, meat is the only one that more efficient because it gets into your body very fast. It's important to eat at least once a week red meat, for a more healthy body. Excessive consume leads to other problems, so, setting a limit is what you need to do.

Iron is also a very important quality of red meat. Iron prevent anemia, and can be found in large quantities in red meat, especially beef meat. Iron helps recovering from surgery , it's good for pregnant women, for children and also for elderly people. Red meat helps generate red blood cells, and is also very good because it contains other vitamins and minerals our body needs such as: potassium, magnesium etc. Red meat is also a very important source of proteins, great for the muscles and organs in your body.

Other arguments that can come in red meats help is the fact that red meat contains also vitamin B, and can be used in all kinds of diets. Consuming more proteins and less fat, is great for a healthy diet. Red meat cooked on the grill can be exactly what you need to not be hungry all day long. The disadvantages of too much red meat are heart disease, weight gain, and also many disease related to what the meat contains.
